Does the public knows everything about web designing?

Let’s all get straight to the point. If you are a webmaster, web designer, web developer or simply, someone that makes websites for a living; then this might be of interest to you.

Have you ever wondered whether your clients, be it your existing or prospective clients, knows everything from the process of developing and building their desired websites all the way to how much we earn and how tough is our working conditions are? Some might know, some might not and some doesn’t even care.

Well fret not my friends, here’s something I found while surfing the net right after watching The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor Movie. There’s this survey which was done by A List Apart and it tries to sketch a true picture of the way our profession is practiced worldwide. Why do such a thing you might ask? Well, it is probably a way of making a positive effect on best practices and employment and most importantly to help the public gain an understanding of, and respect for, our profession!
