The Red Devils owned The Reds?
The past Sunday was a very eventful Barclays Premier League (BPL) Day. 4 of the top (BPL) clubs battle it out to find out who’s the better one out there. Manchester United commonly known as ‘The Red Devils’ basically owned Liverpool, otherwise known as ‘The Reds’ by beating them 1 goal to nil. Of course, ‘The Red Devils’ were the away team playing at the formidable Anfield Stadium. As I was watching the match, I found out that Liverpool were no easy opponents. They were a tough nut to crack but eventually, Manchester United’s Carlos Tevez gave United the lead by being at the right place at the right time and tapping in an off target shot by Wayne Rooney. I must say that Manchester United were lucky enough not to get beaten by Liverpool as there were some dangerous moments that nearly killed the Manchester faithfuls.
Other than that, right after the game, Arsenal were squaring off with Chelsea and this was also a very nervy match as both teams were playing as if that was the final of the Champions League. Eventually, Arsenal took 3 points and won the game through a William Gallas header. He is quite good at scoring goals during set pieces and this is by no means an easy feat especially when he is just a fullback cum centre back.
